Compact Sized Power Supplies – The MEAN WELL NSP series
For OEMs, there is an ever-growing trend to make things smaller, higher-performing, or more efficient, and to achieve these goals, designs often rely heavily on the product's power supply. The new MEAN WELL NSP series delivers on performance and efficiency, whilst ensuring that your product's enclosure takes up minimal real estate.
Building on the success of the RSP power supplies, MEAN WELL has introduced the NSP series, a compact power supply that delivers all the strengths of the RSP series. By comparison, the NSP-320-48 occupies a 28% smaller area than the RSP-320-48.
The MEANWELL NSP series offers similar power output options to the RSP, ranging from 75W to 320W; however, it expanded the voltage options, with 5V, 7.5V, 12V, 15V, 24V, 27V, 36V, 48V, and the new 60V. The NSP now features a higher efficiency rating of 90% to 94.5% and a wider operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C (derating at +60°C); however, users should consult their product data sheet for specifics.
The NSP series is the true next generation of RSP power supplies, offering users greater space efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness. The NSP now also features a 5-year extended manufacturer's warranty, a testament to its quality.
The NSP series features various global industry certifications, including ITE 623558-1, Medical 60601-1, Industrial 615581/2-16/61010-1, and Energy converter 62477-1.
