The MEAN WELL XDR DIN Rail Now Available from MEAN WELL AUSTRALIA
The new flagship XDR DIN rail power supplies are now available from MEAN WELL Australia.
The XDR series expands on the XDR-E series released in early 2025, with a much wider input range, a wider operating temperature, lower inrush current, a 200% peak power rating, communication protocols, and expanded certifications for different environments.

The new XDR range features an input voltage range of 85V to 305VAC and an inrush current limit of <10A at 230VAC. This range features standard output voltages of 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V, with models supporting from 75W to 960W.
The MEAN WELL XDR range features MODbus communication for the XDR-240 through XDR-960 models. This feature enables real-time monitoring of each XDR's output & current, internal temperature, and device status, and provides control to modify the current output. This can also support predictive maintenance by logging load changes and enabling more accurate lifecycle estimation.
This range offers certifications similar to those in the XDR-E range; however, it also includes DNV, C1D2, and SEMI 47.
The XDR range offers a slightly broader set of options for users and applications that require a few more specialised features beyond the XDR-E’s scope. These power supplies are quite robust, with appreciation for MEAN WELL's high-quality design and a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty.
