The latest from MEAN WELL DIN Rail power supplies welcomes the XTR DIN Rail series.
The MEAN WELL XTR series is a three-phase DIN rail-mounted power supply employing newer technologies and features than the very successful TDR series. The XTR series builds upon the foundations of the TDR, improving its form factor and efficiency while also adding additional features.
The XTR is housed in a compact design, with a footprint that is up to 28% smaller than that of the previous series, allowing for greater space in power cabinets. Additionally, the XTR now features more voltage options than the earlier series, with 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V, and power output models ranging from 240W to 960W.
The XTR range features a broader operating temperature range than the TDR; however, users should consult their intended product data sheet to confirm that this fits within their specific needs.
The XTR DIN Rail series has broader safety approvals for compliance in more applications than its TDR predecessor. This range of DIN rails also now features a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty as a testament to their build quality, expanding upon the previous 3-year warranty of the former TDR model.
The XTR DIN Rail model is, overall, a smaller, more efficient and cost-effective DIN Rail power supply, building upon the success of its predecessor, the TDR series.
