The MEAN WELL PV-ML series is a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar charge controller that enables the safe management of solar DC to DC power applications, including charging batteries or supplying the grid from photovoltaic charge from the solar array panels. The PV-ML series is designed for efficiency, with automatic sunlight monitoring integrated into the system. This allows real-time optimisation and can improve charge efficiency by up to 30%.
Two variations within the series, the ML24 and ML48, reflect their respective voltage range outputs. The ML24 caters to 12 & 24VDC batteries, with options for 20A and 40A power outputs. In contrast, the ML48 caters to a much higher power output of up to 60A with an expanded voltage range capability, with 12, 24, 36 and 48VDC outputs.
The PV-LV range features an IP32 rating intended for stable indoor conditions. Its working temperature range is from -35°C to +45°C.
