The MEAN WELL ES-S Series is a portable power station powered by a lithium iron phosphate battery (LiFePh4). It can support various power applications and has three models: 0.5 kWh, 1 kWh, and 2.2 kWh options.
The ES-S series features AC and DC inputs to charge the unit, accepting mains, solar, or in-car charging. Power output options support their charging needs with USB-A, USB-C, AC, DC, and a car cigarette lighter socket. Users can monitor the ES-S unit's status via a smartphone application with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The ES-S has a robust design for portability in the outdoors. The units weigh from 7.5kg for the 0.5 kWh model up to 26kg for the 2.2 kWh model, and they are built with a fixed handle to assist users with moving.
Designed for long life, the ES-S LiFePh4 battery's charge cycle can exceed 4000 charge-discharge cycles. An integrated battery management system protects against overcharging, over-discharging, short circuits, and high temperatures.
